Social cohesion starts here.
Developed over seven years of practice in ECEC settings, in collaboration with educators and families from 15 cultural backgrounds, The Pearl Way is a hands-on, values-based pedagogical model that brings meaningful cultural learning into early childhood education.
Through joyful, hands-on cultural experiences, children, educators and families feel seen, heard and valued - discovering what connects us while learning to appreciate what makes us different.
For educators and service leaders.
Currently in development for a proposed NSW pilot in 2027, The Pearl Way will provide educators and service leaders with a practical pedagogical model, ready-to-use cultural learning resources, training and ongoing support.
Designed to complement existing early childhood practice and align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), The Pearl Way aims to help educators feel confident, supported and inspired to create meaningful cultural experiences.
At its heart, The Pearl Way takes a whole-community approach to belonging - connecting children, educators and families through shared values and a celebration of cultural diversity.
